Morning Preparations
The day begins early at Bruton Comfort Control, where I arrive at our headquarters just as the sun rises over the beautiful Pacific Northwest. After checking the day’s schedule, I load up the service van with essential parts and tools, knowing that Beaverton and Tigard residents are counting on us for their comfort needs.
First Calls of the Day
My first stop is usually in Tualatin, where homeowners are often experiencing various HVAC issues. Today’s initial service call involves a routine maintenance check – something we strongly recommend for preventing major system failures during extreme weather conditions.
Common Daily Tasks Include:
- System diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Filter replacements and cleaning
- Ductwork inspections
- Thermostat programming and calibration
- Emergency repair calls
Afternoon Rush
Lunch breaks are quick, as the afternoon typically brings more urgent calls. The weather in Hillsboro and Aloha can change rapidly, putting extra stress on heating and cooling systems. Between service calls, I’m constantly updating our digital system to ensure accurate customer records and scheduling.
End of Day
Before heading back to base, I double-check that all customers are satisfied with their service. It’s rewarding knowing that our work helps maintain comfortable indoor temperatures throughout the western Portland metro area, regardless of what Mother Nature throws our way.
